Port Richmond is an up-and-coming neighborhood, a bridge to the North East. Being a traditional rowhome style community, it has great bones, a commuter's dream, diverse arts, and entertainment scene, that is only going to continue to grow in years to come.
Long-established Polish roots still run deep here with local Polish markets, delis, bakeries, and restaurants. This area has a tight-knit community giving off a small-town vibe still within Philadelphia city limits. Recently, the area has brought in a younger crowd with lower housing prices & the close proximity it has to center city, presenting a different mood into the streets & businesses.
Being a tight-knit community, this area is great for first-time homebuyers, commuters, and families of any kind. The homey, diverse feeling this area had to offer is contagious and recently a strong draw to all people alike.
